What to Expect:
Game Variety: Bring your favorite board games, tabletop games, or card games and enjoy a night filled with fun and camaraderie. Whether you’re into strategy games, party games, or something else, there’s a place for you here. We also encourage crafts if games aren't your thing.
Supportive Environment: Neurodivergent Friends™ is committed to creating spaces where neurodivergent individuals can feel truly at home. We encourage participants to be themselves but we ask that everyone contributes to maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere.
Focus on Neurodivergent Attendees: Our Copperas Cove Library Game Night is an inclusive sensory-friendly event open to everyone. While welcoming all participants, we remain committed to catering the needs of our neurodivergent participants by providing a comfortable, supportive atmosphere that accommodates diverse sensory and communication needs.
Building Connections: This is more than just a game night—it’s an opportunity to connect with others, make new friends, and be part of a community that celebrates and embraces neurodiversity.
Parental Participation: Parents are welcome to stay if their support is needed by the participant. If not, they may stay and connect with other parents in a supportive environment.
Staffing Considerations: Please note that due to our current staffing limitations, we are unable to provide physical assistance.
